In my work, jobs and promotion steps are configured as follows:
As a first case, Development requests a deployment of a new version of an application.
After that, comes the approval stage, which is performed by the functional analyst or Testing, depending on whether it is the testing or production environment.
Once the change is approved, the execution is carried out.
The problem we have in some cases is required to automate the execution after approval.
Today they are all Manual passages.
